Kitchen

This was a blast! I got so caught up in this and I built it as a separate room box that my son helped me attach when finished.

I started with the floor which was some leftover thin balsa wood that I faux finished to look like tiles. The door on the right of the stairs in the foyer was intended to lead downstairs. I had to build the entrance from those unseen stairs into the kitchen. I chose to make a bit of a feature of it with nice railings and pretty tiles. The same tiles that matched the back of the stove arch.

The stove was built form card stock and fit nicely into the former fireplace

I built all the furniture from wood card stock and beads. The only items I bought were the food, plates and pans. I have patience but not enough to make 50 tiny carrots and 50 tiny potatoes etc LOL

I could write a book on this kitchen but instead I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Let me know if a stove or welsh dresser tutorial would be useful
